This page is dedicated to all who have served and all that are currently serving along side of me on the

Tri-Township FD

St. Charles     Swan Creek

Brant

The Tri-Twp FD is located in SW Saginaw County, Michigan.  It provides fire coverage to 108 square miles of a mainly rural area.  We have both hydrant and non-hydrant areas.  We have several Dry-hydrants located strategically throughout the Fire District.  When all else fails we are supported by the Saginaw County Tender Task Force.  When a structure fire is called into Saginaw County Central Dispatch, the dispatcher automatically dumps the South West Tender Task Force.  This ensures that there is an adequate amount of water en-route to the scene no matter what.  If they are not needed we just cancel the Task Force.   This system has proven to be quite beneficial to all departments involved.

We have 3 stations.

Station #1 is located within the Village of St. Charles.

Station #2 is located in "downtown" Brant.

Station #3 is located at the intersection of M-52 and Swan Creek Roads in Swan Creek Twp.

I know that personnel from all departments brag about how good they are and how they battled "the Big One".  I am no exception.  I recently attended a Fire Officer 1 course with Fire Fighters from across the county.  We were all bragging up our departments.  The instructor, who is an Asst. Chief from a neighboring Township spoke up.  "If you really want to be a good Fire Fighter then go out to "Tri-Twp" or Chesaning-Brady.  Those guys know how to fight fires."

I believe that this is a great compliment to my leaders as well as the leadership of the Chesaning-Brady FD.

Anyone can say how good they are.  But that can only be backed up when Your Peers recognize how good you are.
